Sara Jenike has been appointed Therapeutic Mentoring Supervisor at Children’s Friend and Family Services (Children’s Friend). Prior to her promotion, Jenike was an Outpatient Clinician at Children’s Friend and Clinician at CASTLE (Clean and Sober Teens Living Empowered) at Highpoint Treatment Center. She also served as a Counselor, Mentor Supervisor and Research Assistant at agencies in Massachusetts and California.
Jenike received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy & Child and Family Intervention at Assumption College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Humboldt State University.
“Children’s Friend is a great agency that has been in the community for a long time. I am excited for my new role as Therapeutic Mentoring Supervisor. The program provides children in our care a great opportunity go out in the community with their mentors and build skills while gaining confidence,” says Jenike.
